Redirect

Updated August 2026 · Nabee Studio

A redirect is a rule that automatically sends anyone visiting one web address to another — used when a page moves, a site is redesigned, or an old link needs to keep working. A permanent redirect also passes SEO value to the new page.

Why do redirects matter to your business?

When URLs change — after a redesign or restructure — old links, bookmarks, and search results still point at the old addresses. Without redirects, those become dead ends that lose visitors and search ranking. Proper redirects preserve the value you already built.

At Nabee, redirects are handled during any redesign or restructure so nothing breaks and SEO carries over. It is an easy step to overlook and an expensive one to skip.

A concrete example

Redesigning a site often changes page addresses. Setting redirects from the old URLs to the new ones means people clicking old links — and the ranking those pages earned — are not lost in the move.
