Encryption

Encryption is scrambling data into an unreadable form that only someone with the right key can unlock. It protects information both as it travels (like over HTTPS) and while it is stored, so intercepted or stolen data stays unreadable.

Why does encryption matter to your business?

Any product handling passwords, payments, or personal data needs encryption so that a leak or interception does not expose readable information. It is a baseline expectation and, in many cases, a legal one. Its absence turns a minor breach into a serious one.

At Nabee, encryption is built in where it belongs — HTTPS for data in transit and proper handling of sensitive stored data — as part of building responsibly. It is a default of a well-built product, not an add-on.

A concrete example

When someone logs into or pays on a platform like Toree, encryption keeps those credentials and payment details unreadable to anyone intercepting the connection. That protection is what makes trusting a product with sensitive data reasonable.
